CIT changes for 2012
To be a CIT (Counselor In Training-by stste law you have to be at least 18 to be a counselor) you must be at least 15 years of age. If it is your first time being a CIT you will be hired for a 4 week session (could turn into whole summer). You will need to attend training week June 18-22, as well as CIT training Sat. June 9 (1/2 day). We want you to transision well from camper to staff. If you are still in school during training week we will work with you.
We will not be hiring any Kitchen Crew as we will be using a catering company to meet our lunch needs. We will be hiring 3 Program People positions to set up, run, and take down the various games and activities.
If you have any questions or comments please contact Todd

What Campers should and should not bring to camp
What Campers should and should not bring to camp
What to Bring to Camp
As summer approaches, the camp season does as well. In order for your children to be fully prepared for their camp experience we have a list of things they should bring with them:
- Bathing suit (modest one-piece for the girls)
- Towel
- Sunscreen
- Flip-flops for the pool area (they should wear closed toed shoes to camp)
- Bible
- Water Bottle (they can refill throughout the day)
- Change of clothes in case of rain or accidents
- Lunch (if not getting it from us) *On trip days there is no lunch provided, all campers need to bring a lunch even if not going on the trip
Remember that kids may misplace or misuse their stuff. You may not want to send your best towels or best clothes
What not to Bring to Camp
Electronic devices including MP3 players, Ipods, and cell phones (if you need to get a hold of your child please call the camp office 908-647-9624 someone should always be there, if not call the Deaconry office 908-647-1777 ext. 0) If we see your child’s cell phone we will keep it for them in the office until the end of the day
Illegal drugs/alcohol
Weapons
Fireworks
Just a reminder that on trip days your child has a trip they will need to pack a lunch, even if they are not going on the trip. The kitchen is not open on trip days.
